I feel I'm charring up the backstreet, like the blacktop heat in the city glow, her stare is icing up the concrete, she is moving fast and I'm feeling low, but I'm still feeling. I'm in a hole and burning slow and these memories got me yearning. I've lost myself inside this shell if she saw me now she'd be laughing. Why the hell do I care?
They push and pile on my lonely, I try to smile but it doesn't grow, I know she has forgotten all about me, she's moving fast and I'm way too slow, but I'm still moving.
